dynaIMS is an infrastructure monitoring service in which we monitor their desired systems and services. The monitoring server is located at dynawell, so you do not need to install other systems with them. You determine which systems and which services you want to have monitored. We know immediately when a sensor deteced an error and can take the appropriate actions before you or your users to remember something. In addition to the monthly monitoring fee will be no additional license or maintenance costs for the monitoring for you.
dynaIMS technology
At customer site a system is defined as dynaIMS Probe system. This system collects all IMS data at customers environment and transmits this data via a specific port to the multi-tenant dynaIMS system, which is in our data center in the DMZ. Our dynaIMS console is monitored continuously on working days from 07:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 17:00 by an internal technician. If a sensor reports a problem, we will immediately analyze this problem and take the appropriate steps. Thus, we can ensure that we usually work on a problem before the customer or even the user notice anything.

dynaIMS Probe
The dynaIMS Probe at customer site collects all data of the monitored systems and connects via the a specific IP address and specific TCP port to dynawell's dynaIMS server. The connection is always established from customer's dynaIMS Probe. The configuration of the monitoring is done on our dynaIMS server and is automatically downloaded after a connection is established through the Probe and transmitted by the Probe to the monitored systems. If the customer has multiple locations, it is recommended install a Probe at each location to optimize the traffic.
dynaIMS response times
The dynaIMS Probe at customer's site reports directly a problem to our dynaIMS console. Our dynaIMS console is monitored continuously on working days from 07:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 17:00 by an internal technician. If a sensor reports a problem, we will immediately analyze this problem and take the appropriate steps. If the problem cannot be resolved the problem within an hour, the customer will automatically receive an email containing a description of the problem. A dynawell technician will contact the customer and put this case in order to proceed to discuss / plan together. The customer can also request earlier e-mail information about a detected problem.

There are two Packets to observe physical servers available.
The Base Packet Windows Monitoring Basis Packet observes:

Additionally to the Base Packet we offer the Windows Server Enhanced Packet which contains:
• Hardware Status of a Raid Systems
• Server NIC Performance Monitoring
• AntiVirus Pattern Check
All these Components can be purchased seperately.
Virtual Windows Server
There are two Packets to observe physical servers available.
The Base Packet Virtual Windows Monitoring Basis Packet observes:
• Windows Services
• Disk Space Check
• Ping Check
• Performance (CPU & Memory)
• Uptime
• E-Mail Notification
Additionally to the Base Packet we offer the Virtual Windows Server Enhanced Packet which contains:
• AntiVirus Pattern Check
In a virtual environment, it makes no sense to m,onitor hardware RAID status and server NIC performance.
This is already covered through the SAN monitoring and VMWare Server Monitoring Packet.
VMWare vSphere Server & VMWare vCenter Server
To observe VMWare vSphere and vCenter Servern we offer a packet which contains:
• Hardware Status
• RAID Disk Observation
• Disk Space Check
• Datastore Observation
• Uptime & Ping Check
• Performance (CPU & Memory)
• E-Mail Notification
• Windows Services (only vCenter Paket)
SAN Monitoring
Againgst to monitor servers we recommend to also observe the SAN.
The SAN Packet contains:
• Hardware Status
• RAID Disk Observation
• Uptime & Ping Check
• Performance (IO)
• E-Mail Notification
Depending of the SAN Manufacturer and the SAN model, the observation may vary.
Application Monitoring
In addition to the Base Packets, several applications ca be observed.
