Arrays of EqualLogic PS-Series are based on a virtualized mass storage architecture witch enables IT Managers to buy mass storage exactly according the current need of the enterprise to avoid insufficient workload and excessive capacity. The PS-Seiries offers Fault Tolerance using complete redundant Hot-Swap-Components - two Controllers, two Heatsinkers (Fan), two Power Supplies and harddisks with Hot-Spares. For an ultimate Protection, the write-back Cache is self-optimized, buffered by battery and is mirrored on the Controllers.
